On July 23, 2008, DAFOH hosted a press conference in the National Press Club, Washington, DC. A distinguished panel discussed the question “How to engage more effectively with China”. DAFOH addressed parallels between human experiments by the Nazi medical doctor Dr. Mauthausen , who removed organs without anaesthetics, and organ harvesting practices in China.
